HiFyve is hiring a Radiographer - NDT Level II or III in the Manufacturing industry in Jefferson County, WI!Pay Rate: $26.20 - $42.32/hr Location: Jefferson County, WI Shift: 1st Shift (M-F) 6am- 2pm Key Responsibilities: Interpret and implement complex customer and industry NDT requirements for aerospace, energy, and defense sectors. Develop, review, and approve radiographic techniques and standard operating procedures. Perform and oversee radiographic inspections, including technique selection, material positioning, and film/DDA exposure. Analyze radiographic results (film or digital) to determine part compliance with codes, standards, and specifications. Support and participate in Nadcap accreditation activities to ensure high-level quality compliance. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in radiography and provide technical guidance to production and engineering teams. Provide training, oversight, and examinations for trainees and Level I/II technicians. Maintain radiographic equipment and ensure inspection areas meet safety and performance standards. Education Requirements: High school diploma or GED required (Post-secondary education in NDT or a technical field is preferred). Certification: Must be certified or certifiable to RT Level II per SNT-TC-1A, NAS-410, and NAVSEA Tech Pub 010/271. Advanced Certification: Level III certification (or a strong interest in obtaining it) is highly desirable. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Technical Expertise: Experience in radiographic interpretation specifically for metal castings and welds. Modern Systems: Familiarity with Computed Radiography (CR) and Digital Detector Array (DDA/DR) systems is a plus. Cross-Discipline: Experience in other NDT methods (FPI, MPI) is beneficial. Leadership: Ability to mentor team members and lead technical performance reviews. Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Attributes: Strong attention to detail, high work ethic, and the ability to work independently in a Nadcap-accredited environment. Physical Requirements: Ability to handle and position heavy metal castings for inspection. Visual acuity necessary for the high-precision interpretation of radiographic images. Ability to work in and around radiographic equipment while adhering to strict safety and radiation protocols. Frequent standing, bending, and reaching to manage inspection setups.
