IT - Infrastructure Engineer Sr - Contractor

Summary: Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN) and Internet system or a segment of a network system. Job Responsibilities: • Direct staff to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary. • Review and approve the planning and implementation of network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware. • Review and approve the design, configuration and testing of computer hardware, networking software and operating system software. • Monitor network performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and counsel organization on where changes will need to be made in the future. • Present system flow diagrams to organization and review and approve systems procedures. • Supervise systems implementation. • Supervise and assist in computer networking and computer operation functions Skills: • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. • Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time. • Strong ability to identify, interpret and evaluate system and network requirements. • Strong knowledge of networking computer hardware and software Education/Experience: • High School Degree and Bachelors degree in data processing /related field or equivalent work experience required. • 6-8 years experience required
