Position Summary We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Generalist to join the firm's expanding Human Resources department in our Greenville, South Carolina office. The Human Resource Generalist will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive and productive workplace environment. This role will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of various human resources functions. Essential FunctionsPerform various administrative duties related to the daily operations of Human Resources. Serve as a front-line resource, ensuring open communication with business partners for fair and consistent interpretation and application of firm policies and procedures. Prepare reports related to staffing, turnover, and other HR activities. Respond to HR-related inquiries promptly and professionally, maintaining confidentiality. Assist with unemployment requests and verifications of employment. Support audits, regulatory reporting, and risk mitigation related to HR practices. Frequently interact with employees and managers, addressing questions and concerns regarding employment and firm practices. Drive engagement efforts to create and maintain a positive work environment. Develop and implement learning and development programs to help leaders acquire necessary skills or improve job performance. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations across multiple states, recommending best practices and reviewing policies and procedures to maintain compliance. Assist employees and managers with internal transfer requests and procedures. Monitor and support managers and supervisors with hiring processes and issues. Assist with the orientation of new employees, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, as well as Firm policies and standards. Train new hires on Human Resources processes, programs, policies, information systems, etc. Collaborate effectively with multiple departments and key stakeholders. Perform other related duties as assigned. RequirementsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 7+ years of progressive experience in human resources. Ability to build relationships with employees, managers, and stakeholders, facilitating collaboration across multiple teams and locations. Exceptional multitasking skills and the ability to handle various HR responsibilities. Capable of working independently and as part of a team, with a positive and proactive attitude. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-performing, fast-paced environment. Highly detail-oriented with strong prioritization skills. Efficient in accomplishing tasks, meeting deadlines, and maintaining an organized tracking system. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with employees at all levels and external entities. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work collaboratively while managing multiple priorities effectively. Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed by the department. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
