After-School Cooking and STEAM Instructor

Join iCook and iSTEAM After School as a STEAM or/and Cooking Instructor for our after school enrichment programs. Make a lasting impact on the lives of elementary students and give back to your community. We are a leading provider for after school programs and summer camps nationwide with hundreds of locations. Your Role: Lead interactive after-school sessions centered around STEM (or STEAM) and/or cooking, using provided curriculum. Foster an engaging and inclusive learning environment where students can actively participate in hands-on experiments and creative projects. Inspire a lifelong passion for learning by encouraging critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork. Our Ideal Candidate: Brings experience working with children, whether in a school, camp, or similar setting, and is excited to make a positive impact on their educational journey. Demonstrates effective classroom management skills, creating a safe and supportive atmosphere for students to learn and explore. Values punctuality, reliability, and the opportunity to contribute to the enrichment of young minds. DCPS Clearance Preferred Your Schedule and Pay: Pay is $70 per class (class is 1 hour long) We will pair you up with the schools conveniently located near you All classes run around the same time starting between 2-5pm (depending on the school) in the afternoon and run for 1 hour.
