Job DutiesPosition Type:Administrative Assistant/Clerical/Resource ManagerLocation:Elm Creek ElementaryClosing Date:until filledDescription: Elementary Resource ManagerJob Summary: To provide in-depth support to the principal and staff of the elementary school through management of district provided resources and facilities and equipment under the direction of the principal.Qualifications:a) Monitor and implement requests for all community school and extra-curricular requests requiring building facilities and/or equipment. Schedule rooms/facilities and notify appropriate source of any equipment or special work arrangements necessary.b) Maintain an accounting system for all building funds, accounts and monies. Process purchase orders, keep ledger up-to-date, report monthly balances.c) Implement paraprofessional schedules.d) Keep physical asset inventory and process repair requests.e) Communicate transportation needs to Transportation Department; follow district policy for student disciplining problems.f) Order and disburse supplies and materials as needed.g) Schedule and monitor health and safety problems.h) Verify paraprofessional hours, code rate of pay, date and forward to principal for signature.Education: High school graduate or equivalent.Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Extensive skills in developing and maintaining record systems. Knowledge of UFARS budgeting and coding system. Knowledge of district policies as they affect the general operation of the building. Human relation strengths including helping, serving, and exchanging of information.
