AP Specialist

One of our leading client in the hospitality and transportation industry is looking for an experienced AP Specialist to join a team in Aurora. Qualified candidates with 3+ years of accounting experience are encouraged to apply. Local candidates only. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $22 to $27.88 per hour. Job Description: Participate in invoicing and payment management Apply cash receipts to Accounts Receivable within company software system Apply daily cash imports into accounting software Processing of toll payments Work cross functionally with other departments Multi-state sales tax accruals and filings Purchasing management Commercial fleet insurance claim management Assist with basic HR tasks such as payroll setup and onboarding as needed Participate in a wide variety of special projects as needed Requirements: Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and ERP system skills QuickBooks Enterprise experience Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Able to communicate with professionals at all levels Able to work independently and take initiative Able to adapt to changing priorities Century Group is an award-winning recruiting and staffing firm that provides top-tier accounting and finance talent to start-up, mid-market and Global 1000 enterprises on a direct hire, temporary and temp-to-hire basis.
