Job Title: GIS Administrator Location: Salem, OR Job Description: Requested Skills and Experience: • A bachelor's degree in a related area • At least 5 years of experience with a working knowledge of relational databases, client-server concepts, and web site development • Expert knowledge of ESRI GIS software and applied technologies including ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Enterprise • Expert skills in JavaScript, ArcGIS API for JavaScript, and Python • Experience in cartography (desired) • Experience creating REST/SOAP APIs, Web Services, and/or JSON services • Experience in working with mobile applications and GPS Units • Experience developing GIS applications in a web or desktop environment • Experience developing applications using Microsoft Visual Studio • Relational database management experience with ArcSDE databases in MS SQL Server 2012 or above • Strong SQL knowledge • Experience in complex spatial analysis for natural resource projects (desired) • Experience managing geospatial databases including conversion of digital data in various formats and completing FGDC metadata • Excellent writing skills
