Packing Lead - 1st Shift

About the Opportunity:• Job Title: Packing Lead• Pay Rate Range: $23.00-$29.00/hr• Location: Plymouth, MN• Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Thursday 5AM-3:30PM• Position Type: Temp to HireRequirements and Qualifications:• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).• Two years of work experience in an applicable area: packaging, shipping, light assembly.• Experience as a leader or organizer of people or tasks.• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and move around and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.• Required to lift material on an average of 20-75 pounds.• Frequently required to talk and hear.• Frequently required to reach with hands and arms, bend forward, squat, twist, kneel, balance, crawl, or crouch.• Frequently required to grasp and grip.Duties and Responsibilities:• Receive, carry out, and communicate to co-workers, assignments from immediate or acting supervisor.• Assure production schedule is met and collaborate on creative solutions.• Inventory parts regularly, reporting any shortages to supervisor.• When required, help to package products.• Read and interpret standard label drawings.Discover Award Staffing: At Award Staffing, we believe that work should be more than just a paycheck-it should inspire, empower, and create a sense of purpose.
