We are seeking an experienced Medical Billing Director to oversee all billing operations for our healthcare organization. This fully onsite role is based in Beachwood, Ohio, and will lead a team of 5-7 billing professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing, a proven track record managing billing teams, and extensive experience in healthcare revenue cycles. The Billing Director will take full ownership of billing processes, ensure compliance with all regulations, and implement best practices to optimize accuracy, efficiency, and collections. This is a hands-on leadership position, requiring someone who can balance team management, strategic oversight, and daily operational execution. Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 5-7 billing professionals Oversee all medical billing operations, including coding, claims submission, payment posting, and denial management Ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific billing regulations Develop and implement processes to improve billing accuracy, efficiency, and collections Monitor key metrics and reporting related to revenue cycle performance Collaborate with leadership and clinical teams to resolve billing issues and optimize workflows Provide guidance and training to the billing team to ensure ongoing professional development Maintain a strong onsite presence and be accessible to staff for operational and compliance support Drive a culture of accountability, precision, and professionalism within the billing team Qualifications Significant medical billing experience within a healthcare setting (required) Proven experience leading and managing a billing team Deep understanding of medical coding, claims processing, payer rules, and revenue cycle management Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Hands-on leadership style with the ability to manage day-to-day operations while driving strategic improvements Ability to operate fully onsite in Beachwood, Ohio High integrity, discretion, and strong communication skills Compensation Salary: $120,000 Full-time, onsite role based in Beachwood, Ohio
