VDI ENGINEER w/ ACTIVE TS/SCI CLEARANCE REQUIRED

​​​​​​NorthHill Technology Resources has a need for a VDI Engineer to support a Federal Program in Springfield, VA.  This is a direct-hire opportunity with our client, a fast-growing Federal Integrator.  Outstanding compensation and benefits package.  Due to the nature of the work, an active TS/SCI Clearance is required. VDI Engineer Design and define system architecture for new or existing computer systems utilizing both on-premises and cloud-based hosting technologies Analyze requirements and system architectures to develop system requirements specifications and resulting design plans Administer, operate, manage and maintain components for on-premises and cloud-based virtualized systems Reviews completion and implementation of system additions and/or enhancements and makes recommendations to management and/or clients Provide Tier 3 support for O&M and engineer activities Oversee and participated in several upgrades of Citrix applications Worked across teams to aid in implementing several methods for virtual application delivery to include AppV, AppVolumes, XenApp, SCCM Continuous troubleshooting of network and security issues that affect the VDI user experience Aided in the effort to upgrade all AppVolumes Server infrastructure to the latest version while maintaining availability
