Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Colo-Rectal Surgery Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity:RN - Med Surg Job Details:• Work in post-surgical setting caring for patients who have undergone colorectal and urologic surgery• Collaborate closely with Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurses for ostomy and wound care needs• Care for post-operative patients with TPN, NG tubes, and central lines• Epic experience required• Navy blue scrubs required• 1 year of experience required at a 600+ bed academic hospital with passing competency testing score, or 2 years of experience with no testing required• Competency test required within 24 hours of submission, sent via email• No block schedule or 48-hour requests• Local candidates from certain ineligible counties not being accepted• Up-to-date email address must be provided at time of submission Facility:This major academic medical center is a 600+ bed facility that provides comprehensive healthcare services including specialized surgical programs.
