Senior Pediatric Cardiovascular Perfusionist, Days

ResponsibilitiesThe Sr Cardiovascular Perfusionist oversees the operation, maintenance and application of circulation technology applications, providing age-appropriate care to patients of all ages. This includes, but is not limited to, cardiopulmonary bypass, autologous blood recovery/blood conservation, ventricular support, left heart conterpulsation, myocardial preservation, anticoagulation and hematologic monitoring/analysis, physiologic monitoring/analysis, blood gas and chemistry monitoring/analysis, induction of hypothermia/hyperthermia with reversal, hemodilution, hemofiltration, organ preservation, surgical assisting, as well as administration of medications, blood components, and anesthetic agents via the extracorporeal circuit and any other duties as assigned.QualificationsRequired: One year of experience as a Cardiovascular Perfusionist Bachelor Degree Certified Clinical Perfusionist within one year Desired: Three years of experience as a Cardiovascular Perfusionist Bachelor Degree Certificate of completion from CAAHEP accredited program in circulation technology
