This role is responsible for PLC programming, process optimization, and automation troubleshooting to improve production efficiency, reliability, and quality.This is a hands-on engineering role ideal for someone with 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing automation who is looking to expand their technical scope and project ownership.Key Responsibilities Develop and modify PLC/HMI programs (Omron, Keyence, Pro-face preferred)Support injection molding and assembly line automation systemsTroubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and robotic systemsConduct time studies and analyze process performanceAssist with line layout development and process flow improvementsSupport new model launches and automation integrationPerform root cause analysis and implement corrective actionsCollaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, tooling, and maintenance teamsParticipate in continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field2–4 years of experience in automotive manufacturing or injection moldingExperience with PLC programming (Omron, Keyence, or similar platforms)Knowledge of sensors, I/O systems, robotics, and industrial controlsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExperience conducting time studies and process optimizationProficient in Microsoft Office Preferred Qualifications Experience with multi-platform PLC systemsWiring knowledgeExperience supporting automated assembly linesProject management exposure What We're Looking For Hands-on automation engineer comfortable on the plant floorStrong communicator who can work cross-functionallySelf-starter who can work independently with minimal supervisionContinuous improvement mindset IND2
