They ensure the achievement of established food and beverage quality. Also, has a focus on guest service quality standards, departmental revenue and profit goals.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIESManages all food & beverage cost of goods and inventory discrepanciesEnsures budgetary goals are metAssists in ordering and receiving orders of all types and assists director in setting goals, developing strategies, procedures and policiesEnsures schedules are completed in an appropriate time and manages overtime hoursPerforms basic Human Resources functions; interviewing, hiring, coaching, etc.Actively works with Leads and Certified Trainers to ensure all new hire training is being done correctly and effectivelyCompletes, at the end of every month, the counting and entering of all Food & Beverage inventoriesThis role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing, sitting or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform are also requiredAssume additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Food & BeverageREQUIREMENTS (Competencies, skills, attributes, experience, licenses, certifications, required)Previous experience managing a team of food & beverage employees through motivation, coaching and development. Proven experience supervising food & beverage service departments of 20+ employees. Knowledge and ability to control factors affecting budget. Proven excellence in customer service and experience to interact effectively with guests, all levels of management, associates, both inside and outside the organization. Self-motivated to accomplish goals, with a strong sense of responsibility. The ability to anticipate guest needs, multitask and direct quickly. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong passion for Teaching & Learning. Proficiency with general Microsoft Office applications. Capable of using independent judgement/solid decision-making skill and ability.
