Brown, Inc. has a career opportunity available for a hands-on, Junior Level Technician, on-site in our Bohemia, NY, Location, to join our growing Engineering and Test Division. Dayton T. We support customers across all platforms and services in the military, aerospace, shipboard, railway, weapons manufacturers, automotive, and consumer industries worldwide. The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running, must take a hands-on approach to their work, be flexible in their duties, and be a proven self-starter. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform tests in the lab in accordance with written procedures Assist with data collection Assist with report generation Prepare test samples for testing Prioritize test samples by due dates Interact with customers when needed Document setup using standard paperwork Work in different areas of the lab as required based on workload Required Qualifications: High school diploma required Lab experience a plus Capable of prioritizing different tasks to meet schedules Willing and able to work overtime Ability to communicate effectively with engineers and customers Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions without deviation Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on experience Able to independently and in a team environment Dayton T.
