You will oversee all accounting functions and administrative activities, and ensure customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the training and development plans for finance teamOversee performance management for office teamDeliver financial reporting as neededVerify and analyze franchise performance reportsAssist with office staffing and compensation plan as neededEnsure the culture of the franchise is adopted and maintained within all accounting departmentsAssign quarterly objectives based on the annual plan and budget to all accounting department managers, hold managers accountableDefine, revise, and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines across all accounting departments to ensure consistency within all multimarket operations (MUOs)Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting key performance metrics (KPMs)Work with the executive management team and the division managers to develop an annual budgetPrepare budgets by establishing schedules, collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data.Ensure an effective process is in place for the collections of accounts receivablePrepare, improve, and issue monthly financial statements for the executive management team and external partiesAchieve budget objectives by scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actionsMaximize return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systemsActive participation in influencing business growth, direction, strategic planning, financial forecasting, and acquisition integration as a member of the executive management teamWork closely with the executive management team to develop an economic evaluation of various employee benefit programsGuide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and proceduresProtect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controlsMonitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditorsComply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports, and advising management on needed actionsAssist with the screening, hiring, training, and retaining of accounting department employees.Perform employee reviews and develop corrective action plans if neededMaintain accounting department results by training, coaching, disciplining employees, and appraising performance resultsContinue professional and personal development of leadership, management, and teambuilding, skillsPerform other job duties as assignedPosition RequirementsBachelor’s degree required, MBA preferredAt least 3 year of management and/or supervisory experienceAt least 5 year of accounting and/or office-related experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExceptional organization and planning capabilities, strong attention to detailSkills/Physical Demands/CompetenciesThis is a role in a fast-paced office environment. Some filing is required which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bending or standing as necessary.
