Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVOR Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/16/2026 Duration: 14 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity:Registered Nurse - CVOR Job Details:• Work in cardiovascular operating room with adult and geriatric patients• 2 years of experience required, accepts first-time travelers• Weekend rotation schedule to be discussed during interview• Call required: typically one weekday call every week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed and to Main OR• Patient ratio of 1:1• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS• Must be proficient in Epic charting system• Skills required: Scrub cardiovascular surgery, scrub thoracic surgery, scrub vascular surgery, CVOR procedures, CABG, IABP, LVAD/RVAD, MAZE procedure, mitral valve replacement, TAVR, thoracotomy, VATS, aortic aneurysm repair, carotid procedures, and femoral popliteal bypass graft• Holiday policy: work major holidays that fall during assignment period• RTO maximum of 7 days per assignment• Georgia or Compact license required at time of submittal• Two supervisory references highly preferred• Full compliance required to start on time• Must be available to submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract Facility:This major healthcare facility operates a comprehensive cardiovascular operating room providing advanced cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical services.
