Job Title: Pulmonary Hospital Office-Based Physician Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL Employment Type: Full-Time Job Description: We are seeking a Pulmonary Hospital Office-Based Physician to join a growing hospital system in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This position is exclusively outpatient and hospital consult-based, with no critical care responsibilities. The physician will provide expert pulmonary care to patients with a range of respiratory conditions, including asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, and pulmonary hypertension. As the hospital system expands, this is an excellent opportunity to establish and grow a dedicated pulmonary practice within a supportive and dynamic healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: Conduct outpatient pulmonary consultations and follow-up visits. Provide pulmonary evaluations and management for hospital inpatients (consult-only, no ICU/critical care). Interpret pulmonary function tests (PFTs) and other diagnostic studies. Work closely with referring physicians, hospitalists, and respiratory therapists. Participate in hospital system growth initiatives and pulmonary program development. Qualifications: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pulmonary Medicine (Critical Care certification is NOT required). Active or eligible Florida medical license. Strong clinical and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a collaborative and growing healthcare environment.
