Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a SAP Data Migration & Cutover Lead for a Contract job with a client in Jacksonville, FL. The ideal candidate will lead SAP S/4HANA data migration, cutover execution, mock cutovers, ETL activities, and validation processes. Rate Range: $45/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. SAP Data Migration & Cutover Lead job responsibilities include: • Plan and manage all data migration activities from legacy systems to SAP, ensuring timelines, scope, and quality standards are met. • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data using tools such as SAP Data Services or similar ETL solutions. • Design and execute data validation, reconciliation, and balancing checks (GL balances, open items, master data counts, transaction completeness). • Lead cutover sequencing, dependencies, system freeze planning, batch job coordination, and interface switching. • Prepare and maintain detailed cutover plans including tasks, dependencies, owners, and timelines. • Coordinate ETL activities with technical teams, functional leads, and business stakeholders. • Validate and certify data quality preload and postload via reconciliation processes. • Lead mock cutovers, document issues, evaluate timing, and recommend improvements before production golive. • Manage golive weekend cutover activities, ensuring timely issue resolution, communication, and progress tracking. Desired Qualifications: • Expertlevel knowledge of SAP master and transactional data elements across Finance, SD, MM, and related modules. • 4-6 years of SAP data migration/cutover experience; senior/leadlevel SAP consulting experience preferred. • Deep understanding of industryleading data migration tools, mapping strategies, and reconciliation processes. • Strong understanding of SAP integration across modules and downstream systems. • Experience planning and running largescale SIT, UAT, and cutover activities. • Ability to communicate migration statuses, issues, and requirements clearly to business and technical teams. • Experience developing cutover plans, mock cutovers, runbooks, and playbooks. • Strong analytical, documentation, and problemsolving abilities. • Bachelor's Degree required.
