Soni's client, a fast-growing and highly innovative global biotechnology organization, is seeking an HR Business Partner - Research to support its cutting-edge R&D teams. This is a high-visibility, strategic HR role partnering closely with senior research leaders to shape talent strategy, drive organizational effectiveness, and support a mission-driven culture focused on developing life-changing therapies. This role is ideal for a seasoned HRBP who thrives in a dynamic, science-driven environment, enjoys solving complex people challenges, and wants to make a tangible impact at the intersection of people, strategy, and innovation.What You'll Do: Serve as a trusted advisor to Research (R&D) leaders, aligning people strategies with business objectives Drive talent management, workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design Lead and resolve complex employee relations matters with confidence and sound judgment Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (Talent, Total Rewards, TA) to deliver integrated HR solutions Support leaders through change management, growth, and transformation initiatives Leverage data and workforce insights to inform decision-making and anticipate future needs Champion an inclusive, high-performance culture rooted in collaboration and innovation Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master's preferred) 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist Pharma or Biotech industry experience required, with direct exposure to Research/R&D organizations Deep expertise in employee relations and HR compliance Proven ability to influence and partner with senior leaders Experience supporting organizations through growth and change Preferred Skills: SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification Experience working in a global or matrixed organization Strong change management and organizational design capabilities Proficiency with HRIS systems (Workday strongly preferred) Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills Why This Role: Partner with world-class scientists and research leaders Influence strategy in a rapidly scaling biotech environment Work on meaningful science that impacts patients' lives Competitive compensation package, including base salary, performance bonus, and equity Comprehensive benefits, strong work-life balance, and hybrid flexibility Compensation: $165,000 Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
