Job Summary The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for an Associate Director, Evergreen Learning on the Gainesville campus. The Associate Director will support the daily management and oversight of Evergreen Learning functions to include: business development, corporate training and engagement. This position will manage contracted activities with third-party vendors, and evaluate potential providers for additional partnerships. In conjunction with the Executive Director, the Associate Director will assist in the development of a comprehensive marketing strategy to include management of social media, creation of flyers, and attendance at community events. Responsibilities Develop and implement plans to promote Evergreen Learning's workforce and corporate training development missions. In conjunction with the Executive Director, assist in the development and implementation of engagement and promotions across channels, platforms and campuses. Form and support internal and external partnerships to increase engagement and visibility of the Evergreen Learning mission, including participation in various community, regional and statewide associations. Implement programs for Evergreen Learning, this might involve training corporate clients Assist in the development and implementation of the unit's corporate training development initiatives Develop and manage all customized corporate training programming activities. Supervise student workers on all campuses. Conduct ongoing environmental scans and community needs assessments with local organizations and industry partners to determine Evergreen Learning programming opportunities. Develop and plan programs, evaluate programs, and make recommendations for improving efficacy. Coordinate programming at the Gainesville campus, Oversee existing contracted activities with third-party vendors and investigate additional contractual partnerships to meet workforce development needs to include curriculum. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Strong oral and written communication skills are required. The ability to manage multiple projects that affect a wide range of constituents, both internal and external to the University, is essential. Attention to detail is critical in all aspects of the role. The position requires knowledge of trends in professional education and training across multiple industries and the ability to apply that knowledge to innovative solutions. The successful candidate must also possess knowledge of current marketing trends, with particular emphasis on social media outreach, along with Modern Campus software skills. Additionally, the ability to foster and expand corporate relations is necessary to support organizational growth and program development. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Minimum of five years of experience in continuing education or corporate training, with an emphasis on programs serving adult learners and professional development programming. Preferred Qualifications Degree in Business or Education preferred. Experience developing new programs and obtaining industry approval is preferred. Experience with Modern Campus software is highly desired.
