Estimator - Commercial Construction We're looking for a detail-driven Estimator to join our team and support the development of competitive, accurate bids for commercial construction projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on collaboration, precision, and building strong industry relationships. Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates using plans, specs, and project documents Perform material take-offs and calculate labor, equipment, and crew needs Develop and submit complete bid packages Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and supplier proposals Prepare RFIs and manage subcontractor prequalification Maintain historical cost data and recommend value-engineering options Collaborate with PMs, architects, engineers, and clients during pre-construction Attend job walks, pre-bid meetings, and proposal reviews Build and maintain strong subcontractor/vendor relationships Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field 2-5 years of commercial construction estimating experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore, and estimating software (e.g., BuildingConnected) Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and codes Ability to read plans/specs and analyze data Excellent communication skills Familiarity with local subcontractor/supplier markets is a plus If you're passionate about building great projects from the ground up, we'd love to connect. #JDP
