Infection Prevention RN Manager

This highly recognized hospital is seeking an Infection Prevention RN Manager to lead a program focused on safeguarding patients, team members, and the broader community . The Infection Prevention RN Manager will contribute at a 200-plus-bed, Joint Commission-accredited acute care hospital known for strong clinical partnerships and a culture of continuous improvement. The position will report to the Director of Quality and Patient Safety while partnering closely with the Chief Nursing Officer and medical staff leadership. Additionally, the role will collaborate daily with Microbiology, Employee Health, Facilities/Construction, Environmental Services, Sterile Processing, and Regulatory Readiness to ensure alignment and accountability. The Infection Prevention RN Manager will guide a comprehensive, hospital-wide program that supports all inpatient units and key procedural/diagnostic areas, extending to affiliated clinics as needed. Additional responsibilities include overseeing HAI surveillance and NHSN reporting, leading outbreak investigations, and translating evidence-based guidelines into practical policy, education, and practice change . The Infection Prevention RN Manager will mentor team members, advance hand hygiene and device-associated bundle compliance, coordinate ICRAs for construction projects, and chair or co-lead key committees to sustain TJC, CMS, and OSHA readiness. The Infection Prevention RN Manager will also manage staffing, operational workflows, physician relations, and budget prioritization to achieve measurable reductions in harm.
