Responsibilities Safely operate mini excavators to dig trenches, expose utilities, backfill, and support plumbing installations. Perform basic daily maintenance checks on equipment, including fluid levels, greasing, and cleaning. Collaborate with the plumbing team to plan excavation layouts and ensure accurate digging around utilities. Assist licensed plumbers on job sites with repairs, installs, and service work. Learn to operate high-pressure sewer jetters and related drain-cleaning equipment. Support tasks such as pipe layout, materials handling, and site prep/cleanup. Follow safety protocols and learn proper plumbing techniques on the job. Communicate effectively with team members and customers when needed. Maintain a clean and organized job site. Uphold company standards for quality workmanship and professionalism. Essential Skills Experience operating a mini excavator. Valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor environments. Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a positive attitude. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior plumbing or construction experience is a plus but not required. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Williamsport, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $62400.00/yr. Competitive pay based on experience. On-the-job training in plumbing and sewer maintenance.
