2nd Shift Occupational Health Registered Nurse needed for a per-diem contract opportunity with Yoh's well-known manufacturing client located in Long Beach, CA.This is a solo Nurse clinic that offers occupational and preventative care for employees. Similar responsibilities to urgent care but you are only seeing adults and it is not fast-paced. Must be comfortable working by yourself as you will be the only medical professional onsite (with remote support available).--> Shifts: between Monday and Friday, 2:00pm to 11:30pm- Dates needed so far: 3/10, 3/17, 3/18, 3/25, 3/31, 4/1, 4/2, 4/7, 4/8, 4/9. 4/14- 4/16, 4/21-4/23, 4/28-4/30Top Skills You Should Possess: Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of CaliforniaMinimum (3) years' experience as a NursePrevious experience highly recommended: Occupational Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Primary Care, Corrections, School Nursing, and/or Family Medicine type settingRecent clinical experience and strong first-aid skills What You'll Be Doing: Nursing assessment, triage, treatment, and education for employee health concernsAdminister first-aidProvide wellness materials/informationProvide medical testing such as EKGs, pulmonary function, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, etc. and perform limited interpretation of testsDocumentation using EMR (EPIC)Respond to medical emergencies What You Need to Bring to the Table: BLS/CPR certified (hands on courses only - strictly online not accepted)Yearly TB (PPD) or QuantiFERON Gold testPassionate about promoting health and wellbeing in the workplaceProfessional, dedicated, friendly, and helpful employee What's In It For You?
