Quality Inspector - 1st Shift

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.Job Title: Quality InspectorLocation: North Charleston, SCPay Range: $23.00Shift: 6am - 2:30pm, Monday through FridayWhat's the Job? Collects quality data to support the development of quality objectives Performs comprehensive quality product inspections and reviews documentation for compliance Serves as a manufacturing focal point for analyzing quality issues and implementing corrective actions Inspects First Articles, incoming components, raw materials, and in-process assemblies according to Inspection Plans and Specifications Uses measuring equipment such as calipers and gauges to ensure product quality What's Needed? Hands-on quality and manufacturing experience in an ISO certified environment Proficiency in MS Office, Access, Outlook, and Adobe programs Experience with Document Control software Familiarity with SAP, ISO-9001, and quality systems like DFx or FMEA is a plus Ability to perform subassembly tests and monitor quality requirements effectively What's in it for me?
