Seibi Technician - PE Battery Pack AssemblyTop 3 Must-Have Skills (Highlight These) PLC Programming Experience - Toyopuc, Allen-Bradley, Omron, or Siemens Self-motivated Seibi Technician with hands-on equipment confirmation experience Flexibility to work cross-functionally, travel, and support overtime/weekends Role Overview Toyota's PE Battery Team is seeking a Seibi Technician to support Battery Pack Assembly equipment across North American Manufacturing Companies (NAMCs) and global partners. The role focuses on equipment confirmation, safety compliance, vendor buy-offs, and achieving Safety, Quality, and Productivity (SQP) targets. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of Seibi or equivalent technical experience and are comfortable working in a highly automated manufacturing environment. What You'll Be Doing Support Battery Pack Assembly equipment development with NAMCs and global teams Support equipment specification development and standards compliance Participate in machine risk assessments and confirmation activities Perform Seibi equipment checks (Safety, Electrical, Mechanical) Confirm conveyors and logistics hardware for cell and zone safety interlocks Support vendor buy-off trials and large-zone trials Adjust equipment to meet SQP targets Travel to vendors and NAMCs in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Japan Required Qualifications - What You Bring 2-year technical degree, trade school, or 3+ years relevant technical experience 2+ years PLC programming experience (Toyopuc, AB, Omron, Siemens) Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) Willingness to work up to 25% overtime, including extended shifts and weekends Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally Preferred / Nice to Have Manufacturing equipment procurement, installation, and confirmation experience Kawasaki or Fanuc industrial robots (part transfer, auto-tightening) Vision systems experience (Keyence or similar) AMRs, AGVs, and AGV traffic control systems
