What You'll Do Operate excavators, dozers (including finish work), loaders, skid steers, motor graders, and compaction equipmentPerform rough and finish grading, trenching, excavation, and material movementRead and understand plans, grade stakes, and site layoutOperate GPS/3D grade control systems (Trimble, Topcon, or similar preferred)Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenanceMaintain production goals without compromising safety or qualityCommunicate clearly with foremen and crew membersKeep equipment clean and job sites organized What We're Looking For 2–3+ years of experience in commercial earthwork or civil constructionStrong understanding of grade and site layoutGPS grade control experience a plusOSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation requiredWillingness to work overtime as projects demandReliable, punctual, and safety-focused Physical & Work Environment Expectations Operate equipment for extended periodsLift up to 50 lbs as neededWork outdoors in variable weather conditionsNavigate active construction sites and uneven terrainWork up to 10 hour shifts when requiredWear required PPE at all times
