Material Handler!! Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in the McHenry area within the manufacturing industry. We are looking for a friendly passionate person to join a great team as a Forklift Driver. A charismatic person who loves to be detail orientated organized, punctual, and working in an industrial environment. 1st shift 6:30 am to 3:00 pm Pay rate: $19ph An interview with the Warehouse Supervisor is required Warehouse Material Handler • Forklift Experience Required (preferably stand-up, sit-down & reach truck/cherry picker) • 1 year of warehouse experience • Must be good with computers and data entry, as they will work on the computer daily. • Must be okay with gowning up and working in a sterile production environment. • Must be able to stand 8-10 hours per shift & work overtime. • Steel-toed boots/shoes required • Need to be able to work overtime. • Must be able to read, understand, and speak English at a 5th Grade Level. • No Jewelry or Makeup is allowed to be worn while working in production. MATERIAL HANDLER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Fulfill orders according to Kanban system • Stock carts and deliver to set up areas • Receive Return to Stock (RTS) items from set up areas • Manually integrate RTS items for use with new orders • Verify orders and quantities using computers and RF scanners • Follow verbal and written department procedures, work aids, work orders, work instructions, operating and maintenance instructions and/or procedure manuals ("Instructions") • Executes replenishment report per Instructions • Interpret and identify warehouse locations per Instructions • Apply all process related data inputs on the company host computer system per Instructions • Basic understanding and execution of inventory error resolution process following Instructions • Provides accurate time application and recording following Instructions • Assist in executing pending projects per Instructions • Maintains effective lines of communication with the Supervisor and Lead person(s) to keep them informed of issues • Responsible for training and enforcing department Instructions • May assist with training employees • May complete the discrepancy process to resolve issues per Instructions • Assure that proper documentation and inventories are maintained following Instructions • Assure that all inventory transfers are completed accurately and in real time per Instructions • All employees are responsible for regular and reliable attendance. The company will schedule a minimum of 40 hours per week; based on business demand overtime may be required up to ten hours per shift and 60 hours per week maximum • Complies with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations • Follows all Company rules and regulations, including health and safety rules • Regular, reliable performance of all job duties • Performs all other duties as assigned or as may be required from time to time MATERIAL HANDLER EDUCATION and CRITICAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE • Minimum 1-year distribution, warehouse, or related experience required LANGUAGE/REASONING SKILLS • Must be able to read, understand and communicate in English EQUIPMENT/TOOLS USED (examples, not a complete list) • May use various production machines with mechanical or electronic controls PROTECTIVE PERSONAL EQUIPMENT • Hairnet, lab coat, eye protection, no jewelry, no make-up, steel toed shoes, gloves Why Peoplelink?
