Mechanic HTI is seeking a skilled Mechanic for an immediate opportunity with our client. Pay Rate $23.00/hour Shift Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM Position Overview As a US Tool Mechanic, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of electrical construction equipment, including customer repairs, refurbishing for resale, and warranty work. This role requires hands-on experience with electrical motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems, as well as fabrication and modification work. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial construction equipment Repair and replace hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical devices Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, compressors, and related mechanical equipment Fabricate parts and perform welding and metalwork using MIG welding and plasma cutter Read and interpret drawings, manuals, and technical bulletins Use electrical testers to safely check power, fuses, breakers, and switches Maintain inventory of shop equipment, tools, and parts Assist in maintaining equipment files including inventory, repairs, and maintenance records Monitor equipment warranties and submit warranty claims as needed Install, service, and repair equipment in a timely manner Operate maintenance shop equipment safely Maintain proper hand tools Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE Operate forklift and scissor lift safely as trained Maintain a clean and organized work area Report defective tools or equipment to the Manager Qualifications Previous experience repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems required Experience troubleshooting industrial or construction equipment Technical training in equipment repair or equivalent hands-on experience MIG welding and plasma cutting experience preferred Ability to read and interpret technical documentation Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending and standing Dependable work ethic and strong communication skills Commitment to safety and quality standards Why Apply? $23/hour starting pay Consistent Monday-Friday schedule Stable work environment Opportunity to work on a variety of industrial equipment Long-term career potential #INDPRO
