Financial Analyst (Contract)Location: Chaska, MN (Onsite training; Hybrid 3 days onsite / 2 days remote) Pay Rate: $41 Per Hour Duration: 3 months, with a potential 3-month extension Schedule: 40 hours per week Travel: None Local candidates onlyPosition Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support Finance leadership with monthly reporting, financial analysis, and forecasting activities. This is a temporary role focused on manual reporting processes and data analysis during monthly and month-end close cycles. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, advanced Excel capabilities, and experience reviewing financial statements such as P&L reports. Key Responsibilities Assist with monthly and month-end financial reporting activities Support ad hoc reporting requests from Finance leadership Perform financial analysis to support modeling and business forecasting Gather, analyze, prepare, and summarize data for operating forecasts Input and manage financial data across internal systems Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting Identify inconsistencies or discrepancies in financial data Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required 2-5+ years of finance or accounting experience Experience in R&D and/or manufacturing environments preferred Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, formulas) Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word Solid understanding of financial statements, including P&L analysis Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Work Environment Required onsite during initial training period Hybrid schedule thereafter (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Reports directly to Finance leadership
