Statement of Purpose: The Co-Manager of Operations plays a crucial role in the success of our store by overseeing hiring, training, and ongoing development of our team. Collaborating closely with the unit manager, the Co-Manager strives to enhance store performance, ensuring maximum profitability and exceptional customer satisfaction. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales and Profits: Drive sales through exceptional customer service and effective operational management. Monitor costs to optimize crew performance and minimize waste. Staffing: Oversee hiring and training of crew members, ensuring adequate staffing levels and addressing turnover issues effectively. Quality Assurance: Ensure high product quality through regular customer interaction and crew feedback, maintaining standards throughout the shift. Customer Service: Monitor service efficiency and train the crew to respond promptly to customer needs, encouraging feedback to boost satisfaction. Cleanliness: Ensure the store maintains high cleanliness standards by training and directing the crew on cleaning procedures. Training: Train crew on new products and operational processes, enabling effective shift coverage and distinguishing high-performing team members. Operational Controls: Implement operational strategies to meet preparation and production goals, maintaining product availability and security. Policy Adherence: Follow company policies and safety procedures, ensuring a secure and compliant work environment. Administration: Assist with administrative duties as required, including crew scheduling to align with company objectives. Maintenance: Follow preventative maintenance protocols and train crew members in equipment maintenance. Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment through effective communication, retention strategies, and mentorship for aspiring leaders. Performance Management: Address performance issues proactively and conduct timely reviews to support crew development. EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge: Familiarity with company policies and operational procedures, as well as supervisory and interviewing practices. Education: A college degree or equivalent experience in operations is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in restaurant operations; ability to perform all restaurant functions. Physical Requirements: Stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in various temperature environments. Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to perform physical inspections throughout the restaurant. This position is based at our restaurant location and is integral to our success.
