Center Medical Specialist We are actively seeking EMT Basic, EMT Advanced, Paramedic, and LPN/LVN professionals for our Plasma Donation Center! Your Role: Conduct physical examinations and collect medical histories to determine donor suitability. Establish rapport with donors to ensure an exceptional experience. Safeguard donor and staff confidentiality. Educate donors about potential health hazards and donate accordingly. Assist in donor care, managing minor injuries and any adverse events. Review donor medical histories to evaluate ongoing suitability. Contribute to training new employees. Administer the Hepatitis Vaccine program for employees. Qualifications: Must have current certification/licensure in your state as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT, along with valid CPR certification. Physical Demands: Ability to stand and sit, alternating throughout the day. Frequent hand movements and coordinated finger tasks. Light lifting up to 15 lbs; maximum lift of 50 lbs. Visual acuity and communication skills for effective interaction with diverse groups. Willingness to work in a plasma center environment with potential exposure to biological fluids and cold temperatures.
