Team/Role The Staking Platform team is a critical revenue driver for Coinbase, projected to generate over $700M in ARR in 2024. We create services that empower top-tier staking products for both retail and institutional clients, allowing users to earn from their crypto investments while enhancing the security and decentralization of blockchain networks. Our mission is to simplify blockchain complexities by designing user-friendly APIs for all Coinbase product teams. We are at the cutting edge of the crypto space, solving complex engineering challenges and creating accessible staking technologies for a global audience. In this role, you will explore new blockchains and technologies, enabling exciting new functionalities across our existing and upcoming products. You'll collaborate closely with leadership to transform innovative ideas into dependably functioning products and infrastructure at Coinbase. Key Responsibilities: Take ownership of a product area and define the long-term strategy for Staking Protocol Integrations and infrastructure, focusing on International expansion and support. Develop innovative products and services targeted at both internal teams and external developer communities. Manage the integration of multiple assets, including network launches and staking support for Consumer and Institutional products. Oversee the product management for public-facing developer tools and communities within the Staking Platform team. Research emerging technologies in the crypto domain and cultivate relationships with key community stakeholders. Drive the adoption of staking and crypto-centric features by collaborating closely with product teams. What We Seek in You: 5+ years of experience in product management or a similar role (e.g., product-oriented engineer or entrepreneur). A solid understanding of the crypto ecosystem, including DeFi and protocol technologies. A genuine passion for fostering an open financial system that connects people globally. Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging with both individual contributors and executive leadership. A quick learner who can navigate complex domains effectively. A focus on scalable platform and business outcomes. An execution-driven mindset, capable of thriving in ambiguity and delivering results. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with crypto-native projects (e.g., Staking, NFTs, DeFi, DAOs, RWAs). Familiarity with staking, onchain activities, Ethereum interactions, using ENS, and engaging with decentralized applications or blockchain services. Position ID: P74401 Pay Transparency Notice: The target annual base salary for this position may range from $180,370 to $212,200, depending on your work location. Full-time offers from Coinbase also include bonus eligibility, equity opportunities, and comprehensive benefits, such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
