POSITION SUMMARY: The Eureka Springs School District is seeking a qualified and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dedicated team of education professionals. The candidate will provide comprehensive speech and language services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade across our public schools, as well as to students at two affiliated private schools within the district. This role involves assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and support for students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success and integration of speech therapy goals into the classroom Provide direct therapy services in one-on-one and group settings Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary Participate in Individual Education Plan (IEP) meetings, contributing to the development of educational strategies and goals QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders from an accredited institution Current state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Experience working with children and/or adolescents in a school setting is preferred Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in speech-language pathology Maintain an active NPI, active Arkansas Medicaid provider enrollment, and the ability to submit claims in accordance with Arkansas Medicaid billing requirements
