The ideal candidate will possess the capability to handle specimen procurement, grossing of biopsies, and tissue selection for karyotyping and research purposes, primarily focusing on benign cases and biopsies. Required Skills: Certified Pathologists Assistant (ASCP) Minimum of 2 years of relevant laboratory experience Proficiency in grossing techniques and specimen handling Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication skills Nice to Have Skills: Experience with research specimen procurement Familiarity with handling colon cancer resections and native liver specimens Knowledge of laboratory information systems and documentation Preferred Education and Experience: Certified Pathologists Assistant (ASCP) At least 2 years of experience in a clinical or research lab setting Other Requirements: Medical screening including vaccinations Background check prior to the first day Ability to work the assigned shift from 09:30 to 18:00 Travel and licensing reimbursements when applicable This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $75.62, with a standard 8-hour shift from 09:30 to 18:00.
