Emergency Medicine Technician

A health services network in Fredericksburg, VA, is actively seeking a new Emergency Medicine Technician to work closely with the site team to ensure workplace safety and health. About the Opportunity: Shift: Days and Nights Schedule: 4 days per week Hours: 10-hour shifts Setting: Workplace Health & Safety Responsibilities: Providing first aid support and referrals to external medical providers Minimizing injury risk through education and proactive engagement Maintaining care records and coordinating workers' compensation programs Providing daily logs and end-of-shift reports Engaging with employees and leadership on safety practices Qualifications: High School Diploma / GED Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Current valid EMT or Paramedic Certification, or relevant military or athletic trainer certification Strong first aid and emergency response skills Proficient in maintaining medical records Knowledge of OSHA regulations Excellent communication skills Strong organizational skills Desired Skills: Certified to teach CPR and AED training High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Experience with Industrial Wellness programs Experience with managing Musculoskeletal Disorders Experience with OSHA and Workers' Compensation regulations
