We invite you to join our dynamic engineering firm as a Senior Industrial Estimator, where you will lead the development of our estimating competency. This is a unique opportunity to guide and influence the creation and implementation of best practices, processes, and tools for producing timely, accurate, and competitive project estimates. This role allows for remote work with the expectation of approximately 30% travel to client sites and our office in Green Bay, WI. Primary Responsibilities: Competency Development: Establish a clear vision for fostering Foth's estimating competency. Implement a comprehensive estimating program aligned with our company's goals, industry best practices, and project requirements. Drive continuous improvement based on data-driven insights from past projects and the adoption of the latest tools and techniques. Estimating Practices Lead: Steer the estimating process on complex, high-impact projects, providing expertise to ensure timely, accurate, and competitive estimates while managing project risk. Collaborate effectively with clients, suppliers, project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders. Team Leadership: As the estimating competency expands, build a high-performing team by fostering a collaborative, learning-focused, and results-driven environment. Required Qualifications: Associate degree with 10+ years of experience estimating capital construction projects, including design-build and engineering-led construction. Hands-on experience with multi-discipline industrial manufacturing, including packaging, process piping, controls, electrical, and facilities. Proven experience in building and leading a team. Familiarity with construction cost estimating software (e.g., Means, Richardson, Timberline). Proficient in current Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.). Willingness to travel up to 30% based on business and project needs. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Experience in the food, beverage, and consumer products industries. Knowledge of project cost forecasting and tracking practices. The base compensation for this role ranges from $120,000 to $180,000 annually, reflecting various factors such as experience, location, and responsibilities. In addition to base compensation, Foth members may qualify for performance-based bonuses. All employees are eligible for On-the-Spot bonuses. Exempt members may also receive quarterly and/or annual bonuses.
