Estimator - Heavy Civil Projects

Job Overview: We are on the lookout for a meticulous Estimator to join our team and prepare comprehensive cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects, including roads, bridges, and utilities. The ideal candidate will meticulously review project plans, gather competitive pricing, and create precise bids to help secure contracts. Key Responsibilities: Analyze project plans and specifications thoroughly. Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates to ensure bidding success. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather pricing information. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to formulate competitive bids. Maintain and update estimating databases and documentation. Qualifications: Prior experience estimating heavy civil construction projects is preferred. Proficiency in HCSS HeavyBid is a strong plus but not mandatory. Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications effectively. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
