In this role you'll guide families through one of life's most meaningful experiences, delivering compassionate, evidence-based obstetric care in a community that blends warmth, natural beauty, and modern healthcare excellence. Picture yourself mastering cutting-edge L&D procedures, collaborating with a dedicated team, and leaving a lasting imprint on the mothers and babies you serve. Oregon's scenic landscapes-from the Willamette Valley's lush vineyards to the craggy Oregon coast and the snow-capped peaks of the Cascades-offer opportunities to explore outdoors on days off, fueling balance and resilience as you care for others. Location Benefits: Albany sits in a region renowned for its family-friendly communities, strong schools, and convenient access to wider Oregon adventures. Working here means a supportive, close-knit hospital environment where your expertise is valued and your voice matters. You may also have the chance to work across other locations in the U.S., expanding your professional horizons and exposing you to diverse obstetric practices, patient populations, and hospital cultures. When you're not on shift, you can explore nearby Albany's historic districts, scenic rivers, and public parks, or plan weekend getaways to the coast, Mount Hood, or the Willamette Valley's celebrated wineries. Responsibilities include continuous fetal monitoring, labor progress assessment, pain management coordination, obstetric triage, cesarean delivery support as needed, neonatal resuscitation and stabilization, and postnatal education for families. You'll participate in case reviews, performance improvement initiatives, and clinical rounds, seizing opportunities to deepen your expertise in high-risk obstetrics, birth planning, lactation support, and newborn assessment. The position offers a structured pathway for professional growth within the L&D specialty, including access to certifications such as CNOR, perinatal nursing education, and leadership development. Our contract includes a competitive weekly pay range of $2,577-$2,644, with guaranteed hours of 36.0 per week, and an anticipated start date of February 4, 2026. In addition to base compensation, you can benefit from a sign-on bonus and housing assistance designed to minimize relocation friction. We also offer extension opportunities to keep you aligned with your career goals and the needs of your unit, enabling continuity of care for patients and colleagues who rely on your expertise. Comprehensive support is available 24/7 while you're traveling with the company, ensuring help is close at hand for clinical questions, housing referrals, or logistical needs, no matter the hour.
