Job Opportunity - Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - OregonStart Date: March 1, 2025 Location: Portland, Oregon metro area Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Housing/Travel: Lodging recommendations available; to qualified applicants Schedule: In-hospital 12 or 24-hour shifts (7am-7pm or 7am-7am); flexible scheduling available Highlights:Join a well-established team of 13 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners across two Level III NICUs Work at two teaching hospitals with combined delivery room volume exceeding 7,500 annually Provide coverage at facilities with Maternal Fetal Medicine Consultation and OB Hospitalist support Exercise clinical autonomy in ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests Engage in high-volume delivery room attendance, newborn resuscitation, and procedural care Unit-based support model with collaborative physician partnership Requirements:Neonatal Nurse Practitioner certification OR Physician Assistant with completion of a 12-month Neonatal PA fellowship or residency program Oregon state licensure (or willingness to obtain) Board certification or board eligibility required Delivery room and high-acuity neonatal experience strongly preferred Additional specialty certifications required Why It's a Fit: This permanent position offers the opportunity to provide high-value, family-centered care to critically ill neonates in a collaborative teaching environment.
