Job Full Description Job Title: Material Handler / Forklift Operator Location: Carthage, NC Shift: 1st shift 7am-3pm Pay: $16 Position Overview We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join our team. This role involves more than just forklift operation - candidates must be willing to assist with general warehouse duties, material movement, inventory support, and production assistance as needed. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities & Duties Operate sit-down, stand-up, or reach forklift safely and efficiently Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse or production floor Stage materials for production and ensure timely delivery to workstations Perform manual material handling, including lifting, stacking, and organizing products Assist with shipping and receiving tasks Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy Maintain accurate inventory counts and complete required documentation Wrap, label, and prepare pallets for shipment Support production teams with material replenishment Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards) Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned Qualifications Previous forklift experience required (certification preferred) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic computer and inventory system knowledge preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Willingness to assist with non-forklift duties as needed Preferred Skills Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments Knowledge of shipping/receiving procedures Sanford, NC 2665 307 North Horner Blvd Sanford, NC 27330
