Plant Operator

Job Title: Caledonia Plant Operator Overview: Seasonal with the anticipation working April - October. The timeframe could change based on work load and maintenance needs. Safety Expectations: The consultant is required to comply with all safety rules and to observe safe work practices and operating procedures at all times. Whenever on Suit-Kote property or job sites, or operating Suit- Kote equipment, consultants and others. Responsibilities/Job Duties: Follow all safety and environmental policies Operate truck scale system Work with Dispatch and Direct Supervisor on all inbound and outbound loads. Load and Unload liquid materials into tankers and bulk storage tanks Keep workplace clean and organized Operate forklift and other equipment when needed Run errands and pick up supplies when needed Ability to follow written and verbal direction Record inventories, and inspections daily on paper and computer Operating and maintaining heater, valves, pumps, hand/power tools and cutting grass around the facility Painting, sweeping, shoveling Working overtime and on weekends when needed Work from heights and in confined spaces (cleaning out bulk storage tanks) Requirements: OSHA 10 Hour Safety Certificate Passing a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening is required and a background check will be conducted High school diploma or GED is preferred Reliable transportation to and from work site Must be able to lift 50 pounds, read a tape measure and be good in basic math Strong work ethic, self-starter and the willingness to help out the team Must have a clean motor-vehicle record Additional Duties: This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed.
