The Clinical Coordinator, Health Sciences is responsible for the arrangement and coordination of student externships and serves as the liaison person to the healthcare affiliations. Compile program data for gainful employment information, record keeping, data processing required for program evaluations, and student assessments. Assist in recruitment efforts and assist students to decide health science career choices. Compile program evaluation forms. Prepare/process student exit evaluations, and post-graduation surveys. Create and update web, catalog, summary sheets for program offerings. Primary Responsibilities Provide information sessions for students before the semester in which they need an externship for MOLA. Arrange schedules for externships between students and clinical sites. Collect clinical entry paperwork for MOLA students (drug screens, background checks, CPR cards, etc.) Arrange assignments for faculty, preceptors, and students within the clinical tracking system. Provide reception desk staffing as needed. Participate in a 1:1 weekly meeting with the dean. Participate in school directors' meetings. Release PERC holds on MOLA students. Represent the department at open houses, new student orientations, pinning ceremonies, or other college functions. Serve on hiring committees for full-time faculty, part-time faculty, and other administrative positions in the school. Compile program data for gainful employment information, record keeping, and data processing required for program evaluations and student assessments. Prepare/process student exit evaluations, post-graduate surveys. Work with area coordinators and directors to prepare the Perkins Grant proposal analysis and submit the annual assessment for any funds received. Maintain supplies for MOLA programs and the department. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree required (preferred concentration in a health sciences field or education) 4-6 years of related professional experience.
