Job Summary and Qualifications We seek a dedicated Perinatal Ultrasound Technologist who delivers exceptional patient care and high-quality ultrasound examinations within our practice. Join our supportive team committed to meaningful patient experiences. Responsibilities: Conduct accurate and high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations primarily in the OB/GYN specialty. Utilize fetal ultrasound principles to assess fetal anomalies and gynecological ultrasound principles for patient evaluations. Adapt to various ultrasound machines while upholding high standards. Identify and document fetal and gynecological anomalies such as fibroids and growth disturbances. Perform ultrasounds on the mother’s uterus, cervix, and ovaries, including complex assessments of multiple gestations. Make preliminary assessments of both gynecological and fetal disorders based on ultrasound findings. Operate General Electric, Accuson, Medison, and ATL ultrasound machines with expert proficiency. Maintain detailed ultrasound records, including patient medical and surgical histories. Prepare patients for various procedures including comprehensive ultrasound examinations. Collaborate professionally with colleagues and other healthcare professionals. Utilize independent judgment in interpreting Biophysical Profiles for fetal well-being and alert physicians of urgent concerns. Qualifications: Associate's degree in Ultrasound required; Bachelor's degree preferred. A minimum of one year of OB/GYN ultrasound technician experience required. ARDMS certification required; RDMS-OBGYN highly preferred. BLS certification required. Must be certified in diagnostic ultrasound as per state regulations.
