Ideal candidates will be self-starters who adapt easily, pay attention to detail, and work well with minimal supervision. This role requires 100% travel. What You'll Do: Willingness to travel for extended periods based on project locations. Ability to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions (cold, snow, rain, and heat). Experience in the installation of Maxcell, Microduct, inner duct, and fiber optic cable within Data Center environments. Proficient in fiber splicing and testing. Deliver innovative and effective solutions with a focus on ongoing improvement. Provide structured feedback on project status to stakeholders. Exhibit high-quality workmanship and maintain cleanliness in Data Center environments. Adhere to all production, safety, and quality standards, codes, and industry best practices. Collaborate with stakeholders to address project challenges. Read and interpret blueprints, building documentation, and cable schedules. Possess a broad understanding of Data Center infrastructure technologies. What You Will Need: Familiarity with basic telecom hand tools. Proven ability to lead a crew of 5-10 technicians. Strong customer service understanding, capable of conducting job walks and communicating project requirements. Accept responsibility for the outcomes of work performed by you and your team members. Clear understanding of job safety requirements. Ability to read and understand project design documents. Capable of installing various types of inner duct and fiber optic cable. Skilled in maintaining organized paperwork and managing midsize to large projects and service jobs. Expertise in dressing all types of cable and performing diverse terminations, with a fundamental understanding of fiber equipment. Basic knowledge of both copper and fiber cable testing and troubleshooting. Monitor and review timesheets for your team. Maintain accurate documentation and oversee service jobs. Effectively communicate with foreman, leads, technicians, and superintendents. Document lessons learned as they arise. Coordinate with QAQC on quality status assessments. Knowledge of project closeout procedures. Identify strengths and weaknesses of team members. Ability to drive company vehicles and maneuver trailers. Proficiency in blowing fiber optic cables.
