Assembler

Assembler Key Responsibilities Construct HVAC equipment casings using overhead cranes, hand tools, power tools, wrenches, levels, and other shop equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for design, dimensions, and tolerances. Perform precise measurements and mathematical calculations involving fractions and decimals. Level base frames and fasten sheet metal using mechanical fasteners. Position and install components such as fans, heaters, dampers, walls, roofs, doors, and drip edges. Follow manufacturing, materials, and accounting procedures, including accurate record-keeping. Track time by job and activity on time cards. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Assist in implementing new processes or procedural improvements. Perform additional duties as needed to support production and customer requirements. Essential Skills & Qualifications Experience using hand tools and power tools. Ability to perform assembly and production tasks safely and accurately. Proficiency in reading blueprints and using tape measures. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform inspections. General labor or assembly line experience. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Owatonna, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $19.25/hr.
