Responsibilities As a Safety Manager, you'll lead the charge in building a culture where safety is more than a priority - it's a core value. You'll ensure best practices are implemented, compliance standards are met, and every team member goes home safe each day. HazTek is seeking an experienced Safety Manager near Reno, NV to oversee safety operations on our commercial construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring OSHA compliance, implementing best safety practices, and fostering a culture where every worker goes home safe. Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance Conduct daily safety meetings Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations Daily safety audits and inspections Oversee all subcontractors and contractors Oversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation QualificationsMinimum 5+ years direct construction safety experience required Active OSHA 510 and or OSHA 500 required Active BCSP certification highly preferred Degree in a safety related field preferred Advanced knowledge of construction safety standards Experience with data centers and or mission critical builds Excellent written and verbal communication skills required Proficient Microsoft Office skills Embody HazTek's Core Values of Integrity, Compassion, Dependability, Leadership, Accountability #ZR Overview HazTek Safety Management is a full-service, objective safety partner, founded in 1997.
