Cnc Machinist

Job Title: CNC MachinistJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating large machining centers, be proficient in CNC programming, and have a keen eye for detail. This role involves reviewing engineering prints, selecting appropriate tooling, and ensuring the precision of machined components.Responsibilities Review engineering prints and select appropriate tooling. Operate large machining centers such as VTL or HBM. Edit and maintain CNC programs. Utilize AutoCAD, Fanuc, Siemens, and G code programming. Perform machine setup and operation as needed. Implement continuous improvement processes. Inspect and measure machined components. Interpret blueprint/drawing specifications and GD&T. Apply various inspection methods using hand gages and CMM. Essential Skills Proficiency with AutoCAD and Fanuc, Siemens, G code programming. Experience with VTL or HBM machining. Ability to edit and maintain CNC programs. Understanding of blueprint/drawing specifications and GD&T. Experience with various inspection methods. Minimum of three (3) years in large-scale/large component CNC machining. Additional Skills & Qualifications Proven ability to develop the machining skills of others. Experience with overhead crane operation and rigging. Basic computer skills for email and web-based communications. Our facility boasts the largest Roll Forming & Press Break machine in the Northern Hemisphere. You will work under the direction of the Team Manager and be responsible for safely producing quality parts in a timely manner.
