JOB TITLE: Senior Manager Operations of Clinical Practice LOCATION: Rockville, MD HOURS: 4 DAY WORK WEEK - Monday - Thursday (Full-Time) PAY: $125,000+ annually depending on experience FREE PARKING AT ALL 7 OFFICE LOCATIONS! BENEFITS: Health/Dental/Vision Insurance FSA HSA Life Insurance 401K Contributions Disability Insurance Paid Time Off Every Friday off Tuition Assistance Free Parking Paid Maternity and Paternity Leave STD/LTD/ADD Insurance (short-term disability, long-term disability and accidental death and dismemberment insurance) Report To: COO Supervision Exercised: Office Managersand Clinical Support Teams Position Summary: The Senior Manager, Clinical Operations provides operational leadership for clinical office teams across a seven-office medical practice This position ensures efficient, high-quality patient care delivery, operational consistency across sites, and compliance with all regulatory standards. The Senior Manager collaborates closely with physician leadership, administrative teams, and site managers to standardize processes, optimize workflows, and foster a culture of clinical excellence and accountability. Key Duties & Responsibilities:Leadership & Strategy Lead, mentor, and develop clinical office teams to promote high performance, engagement, and accountability. Partners with executive leadership and physicians to align clinical operations with organizational goals and patient care standards. Evaluate and enhance clinical workflows, staffing models, and patient throughput across all sites. Drive implementation of quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and clinical efficiency projects. Operational Oversight Oversee daily clinical office operations, including scheduling, staffing, coverage, and time approvals. Standardize clinical policies, procedures, and training across locations to ensure consistency and compliance. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as patient flow, staffing ratios, and quality metrics. Collaborate with HR and administrators on hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluation of clinical staff. Serve as liaison between clinical office staff and physician leadership to ensure open communication and timely problem resolution. Compliance & Quality Assurance Ensure adherence to all regulatory, safety, and infection control standards. Oversee implementation of quality assurance programs, incident reporting, and corrective action plans. Maintain current knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations affecting clinical operations. Training & Development Lead development and delivery of clinical training and continuing education programs. Evaluate staff competencies and provide coaching to improve clinical and leadership skills. Promote professional growth opportunities for clinical team members. Other Responsibilities Participate in organizational planning, budgeting, and technology adoption (EHR enhancements, digital workflows, etc.). Travel regularly among practice locations. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required (in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred); Minimum 7-10 years of progressive clinical leadership experience in a multi-site healthcare setting.. Proven ability to lead teams through change, build collaboration, and manage performance. Strong understanding of healthcare operations, compliance, and quality improvement practices. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Working Conditions / Other: Office work setting in Calhoun Place with travel to other sites.
